Thong Thomas Nguyen is currently a fourth year undergraduate student majoring in Food Science and Technology at UC Davis. As the secretary for Food Tech Club, Thomas sends out internship opportunities and keeps the club members up to date with various newsletters and emails. As an intern at the UC Davis Olive Center, he aspires to be proficient in laboratory work and to explore new discoveries in the lab. His career interests involve quality assurance, food safety, and sensory science. Also working as an AATC tutor for brief organic chemistry, he does not mind working as a teacher one day. Upon seeing a lack of Vietnamese cuisine in Davis, he would love for some outreach from Vietnamese communities. He enjoys cooking, reading, gaming, and trying out new foods.
